I know Mozilla is still being pounded on very actively, so don't take
this as a criticism!

Just out of curiousity, anyone have any comments on why Mozilla is so
slow opening up new windows? I'm on a 450MHz G4 with 256 Megs of RAM,
and it takes about 2 seconds to go from me hitting command-N to an open
browser window, ready for action.

I understand that a lot of the guts are now Javascript-powered, rather
than "native" code. Is that part of the problem?

Or has that part of the codepath not really been optimized yet?

Thoughts, anyone?

p.s. And why can't I get rid of that bloody "Imported IE Favourites"
folder in my bookmarks?!?!?!?!
