NS6 as default browser link errors

I have NS6 as the default browser.  If I click on a URL link in another app, 
NS6 invokes OK, but issues two error popups before displaying the link 
properly.  First I get a 'can't find URL' popup, then an 'Error 2' popup.  
Even before I click the acknowledge buttons on these two popups, the web site 
is showing up behind them in the NS6 window.  Any ideas.

I also wish there was a way to set a default profile it would use when invoked 
by a an outside link.
