I have no idea, I'm just brainstorming why Eric would want to be able to
deselect the security stuff the way mail can, and see if there's enough
folks who want it that some install work would be required.

There is one small part of PSM that in the iPlanet version contains some RSA
proprietary code (actual RSA code, not just an implementation of the
patented algorithm), which was replaced for the open source version. There
was already one serious bug fixed in the replacement version, so it's
conceivable some folks would trust the iPlanet version more until the open
source version gets a few more miles on it.
