Middle button Open In New Window broken?

Hi, for the last two days it seems the ability to open a link in a new window using the middle mouse button has has been broken (win32).  It also appears that mozilla erased the line (user_pref("middlemouse.openNewWindow", true); ) line in my prefs, but when I added it again it still doesn't work.  Anyone else see this, before I file a bug?
