I commend you for your ability to deal with unsolicited email (spam),
but until groups such as this are hosted by a secure server, I will
continue to use a munged email address. The generally accepted spirit of
any news group is that a public message warrants a public response, and
we all have the option to either reply back to the sender, to the news
group, or to both.
That said; my personal community effort here, is to encourage
developers, who have diminished in numbers, to return. (See previous
threads and comments regarding the influx of end user questions). If you
do see any further mislabeled Off Topic posts, please assist the poster
with a solution or recommendation, rather than labeling my community
effort as an "off topic nazi".
If you and your peers form a consensus to help as many users as possible
with their concerns, I will then gladly step in with my input. About 95%
of the off topic technical questions which I have labeled, could have
been comprehensively answered by me, but I chose to redirect, instead.
This appears to me to be the strongest request posted at mozilla.org.
Have a great day! ;-)
