I've found the opposite.
I've found Communicator 4.7.6 very stable on Mac Platform.
After I used NavCom Cache Utility to create a memory Cache (20 mb) and
increasing the Ram set aside to Communicator 40000K. After doing this
the only time I get type -2 crashes is when I forget and attempt to save
item,s sent as "quoted Printable" Mime encoding as a text file. If I
save as source I have no trouble at all.
Both Mozilla and N6 I have had to do much the same and they still crash frequently.
