I have Windows 98 and I recently downloaded Netscape 6. I then changed
my mind and
removed Netscape 6 from my PC and went back to Netscape 4.76. Ever since
then I have
had problems with opening binaries when reading Newsgroups (NETSCP6.EXE
now in the
path). Also I cannot properly open binary files that were stored on a
diskette that
were saved (the pic opens with some sort of "Cannot find the file A:\
.....)

I was told that this has been a problem experienced by many after
downloading Netscape
6. Then I went to "Folder Options" ---> "File Types" and changed the
path for Mazilla
GIF and JPEG files. Still I cannot get binaries to open using Mozilla in
Netscape.
The Mozilla box that had the option to "open" doesn't even appear
anymore.

Is there any way to reload the File Types under "Folder Options" in
Windows 98 for
restoring Mozilla operation?

Would re-downloading Netscape 4.76 restore all the Mozilla File Type
information for
Windows 98?? I also think Ive lost the File Type for GIF under Folder
Options.

Any help/suggestions for restoring all the File Types under Folder
Options would be
appreciated.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Regards,

Lou
