This newsgroup concerns mozilla development not end user products such
as the Netscape 6 browser.
Please try the following newsgroup:
snews://secnews.netscape.com:563/netscape.netscape6.windows
The Netscape 6 newsgroups need a newsreader that can handle secure NNTP.
Netscape 4.x, Mozilla with PSM installed and Netscape 6 can do it. I've
heard outlook express can too but can't confirm it. I don't know about
other news reading software
If you have to enter the details manually then please enter the
following details into your news software:
Server: secnews.netscape.com
Port: 563
[X] Enable SSL (or this is a secure server or something like that)
and the newsgroup name is: netscape.netscape6.windows
For UNIX issues then the group is netscape.netscape6.unix and for
Macintosh is: netscape.netscape6.mac
One last thing: Please don't crosspost to multiple newsgroups!
