It happened to me but I got over it. It turns out that happy.exe renames
wsock32.dll as wsock32.ska and places a virus file that it names
wsock32.dll. If you don't have Norton antivirus do the following.

Search for and delete files ska.exe and ska.dll which are created by the
virus. Then change directory to Windows\System. Rename wsock32.dll (this
would be the one the virus put in) and rename it wsock32.old. Then find
and rename wsock32.ska (this was the original good .dll file renamed by
the virus) and rename it wsock32.dll. When everything is working as it
should delete wsock32.old. This worked for me. Hope it does for you.
