I have a similar problem. If I try to open a link to a JPEG image,
Mozilla opens a dialog saying "This file has a mime type image/jpeg
and cannot be viewed using Mozilla" Then it gives the option for
saving it or using some other application ....
This happens even for local image files

I am using the 200101210 build for Windoze
