What's the 'XXXXX.slt' subdir in the profile dir?

On Linux, I have my profile data in ~/.mozilla/matt.  However, with
the latest Mozilla build, it's in ~/.mozilla/matt/y2pre4ed.slt

What exactly is this ".slt" direcotry?
