Did you install the installer package or the .ZIP package. If you
install Mozilla 0.8 from the .ZIP package, after you install java plug
in, you still need to copy np*.dll from Java directory to
./bin/Mozillas/plugins to enable java (for win32). The installer package
should enable Java automatically if you choose complete installation
