Hi!

First of all, let me say that I'm happy that Netscape has released its
source code (I think it will be better if you use the GNU GPL since this
will increase code reusability). With the help of the free software
comunity, this surely will improove the quality of the program.

Some suggestions of improvements:

1) Don't try to make one big program that does everything. Such a big
program (like I think netscape/mozilla are ) consumes a lot of resources,
and it is slower. It is better to have small programs that do just a few
things and cooperate togheter. (like the unix philosophy).

Also I've tried to download the Mozilla's sources and build it myself ,
but is just too big for my computer (and demands a long compilation time).

2) One of the weak points of Netscape is that file transfers are not
safe. If you loose your conection and your file gets truncated ,you are
not told!. It is necesary to have a functionallity like "Getrigtht" or GNU
wget (perhaps using wget for file transfers)

3) One nice feature of MS-Internet Explorer is that you can save a page
together with all the pictures that appear on it. It would be nice to have
this feature in Mozilla.

4) At work we are using a proxy. Each user has to configure the proxy
settings !. I think it would be better if the system administrator could
configure the proxy settings for all the users.

I hope that you agree with my suggestions, and please answer to me at
[EMAIL PROTECTED] since I'm not a member of the list.

Thank you

                                        Pablo De Napoli
