Netscape through Proxy Server?

I have successfully configured IE 5.0 to connect through a WAN (two routers)
by telling it to connect through a proxy server and providing the server's
IP and port (80).

But on the same machine, I am not able to configure Netscape to connect to
the same server.  I checked "Manual Proxy" on the advanced preferences, and
entered the correct IP address.  Isn't this the correct way?  Am I doing
something wrong?
