I'm forGiovanni, too. I believe there is a strong majority for the "ggc"
icons. Maybe less so for the splash screen.
There is no compelling reason why the "m" icon from Giovanni's set can't
be used today as the default icon. the blue woerm of win32 and red star
of Linux should belong to the past as soon as possible.
