Hello folks!

Today I struck a problem with my Netscape Navigator 4.74 when hitting
the submit button in any HTML form with method POST on localhost. It
takes ages until the result of the CGI is shown and Netscape nearly
consumes 99% of the CPU time. Could it be that Netscape 4.74 is polling
winsock for the response instead of using an event based method? The
same form with GET works fine, also if the web server runs on another
machine or if I reduce the process priority of Netscape to low. Really I
do have the impression that Netscape Navigator 4.74 is so busy waiting
for the result of the POST, that IIS on the same machine doesn't get
enough time slots to fulfil the task :-( .

Can anyone confirm this problem and has found a solution? Thanks for any
hints in advance.

Salut,
  Mathias
