Oh I agree completely, there's no shortage of folks around that are
making bad decisions. But if all your friends decided to implement an
interpreted-from-ASCII-text GUI, would you jump off that same bridge?

For making the Mozilla project not use Windows' perfectly good tree
control and instead implement their own, for instance? Did the W3C
