Hi I downloaded mozilla 0.9 and in the last two hours it has:

1). In trying to open a url news:comp.protocols.time.ntp it opens it in
a web page (blank with title of news://comp.protocols.time.ntp) The url
is on page www.ntp.org

2). Posting to same newsgroup comes up with error server
"comp.protocols.time.ntp" does not contain any newsgroups.

3). It crashed three times (mail related I think) when I had several
windows open and flicking between them.

4). Trying to logon to sourceforge.net (with option to turn ssl off
after logon checked) it failed to redirect and crashed a little later in
ssl only.

5). It crashed as I was trying to fill in a bugzilla report (I had just
got me password emailed back to me).

I rushed to download 0.9 because 0.8-1 had been causing me intermitant
crash problems and I had lost quite a few composed emails (for eaxample
0.8-1 crashed while writing the first version of this message).

Im running vanilla mandrake linux 7.2, on 1GHz machine w 256Meg, work
machine is a dual 2x1GHz + 256Meg

From memory 0.8 was stable if not a bit slow but I hope a 0.9.1 comes
out fairly soon that fixes these problems.

Anyone eles got problems with 0.9?

Cheers

Mark
