0.8 is quite old. 0.9 is available at
ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/releases/mozilla0.9/mozilla-alpha-dec-o
sf4.0f.tar.gz
(There is no installer build for Tru64 Unix.)

Take a look in mozilla/chrome. It is likely that there are items both as
directiores and as jar files (ie. foo/ and foo.jar). It should be safe
to remove the directories.
(The bug is http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=72390)
Then, you can remove the themes you don't use. Of modern.jar,
classic.jar and blue.jar, you need either classic.jar or modern.jar.
After removeing the unused themes, references to the deleted themes
should probably be removed from installed-chrome.txt. (There is a theme
uninstall feature, but it doesn't seem allow uninstalling the bundled
themes.)
I suppose, embed.jar is non-critical to Mozilla-the-browser, but I am
not entirely sure.
I suppose (untested! proceed at your own risk) the following files are
safe to remove if Mail&News isn't used:
mozilla/liblber40.so
mozilla/libldap40.so
mozilla/chrome/messenger.jar
mozilla/components/libabsyncsvc.so
mozilla/components/libaddrbook.so
mozilla/components/libimpText.so
mozilla/components/libimport.so
mozilla/components/liblocalmail.so
mozilla/components/libmailnews.so
mozilla/components/libmime.so
mozilla/components/libmimeemitter.so
mozilla/components/libmozldap.so
mozilla/components/libmsgcompose.so
mozilla/components/libmsgdb.so
mozilla/components/libmsgimap.so
mozilla/components/libmsgnews.so
mozilla/components/libsmime.so
mozilla/components/libvcard.so
mozilla/components/mail.xpt
After this, there will still be Mail&News-related items inside the theme
jar file ie. mozilla/chrome/classic.jar or mozilla/chrome/modern.jar. To
remove those items, you need to unjar file, remove the messenger
directory and rejar the theme, but that might not be worth the trouble.
