I installed Mozilla .9 a few days ago -- runs well on my system.
But I've got a problem that is keeping me from using it for
regular browsing. When I hit the "Escape" key, or the greyed-out
"Stop" button, this action no longer turns off animation in the
banner ads.

Used to be that if I hit Escape or grayed-out Stop in Mozilla, the
blinking banners would stop flashing. This is the behavior in
Netscape 4.77. I've looked for other references to this problem
but haven't seen anyone else mention it.

It is just my system? Or does everyone have the same lack of
functionality? Do I have to do yet ANOTHER manual uninstall
(*sigh*) and reinstall Mozilla .9 to regain the ability to turn
off banner animation, or will this be useless?

I should mention that the menu item for blocking the loading of
all images doesn't work at all, either. It seems to be nonfunctional.
