Mozilla is strictly an open source project (meaning any
developer/programmer) paid or or not can work on any or all part(s) of
the project. It primarily designed to create a product which end users
(meaning companies such as, Netscape, Hp, Beonex, etc) can use as a
basis for an end use product). Yes a big part of the developers come
from Netscape, but, not all.

Netscape 6 is a version put out by Netscape based on Mozilla which is a
Comercial product and adds features such as AOL Instant Messenger.
