Change Mozilla Cache location ?

Hi,

Running Mozilla 0.9 under Win98 (or Winnt), I am trying to set the cache
location to another drive : I found the cache folder in the Profile
directory of windows (no dialog box to do that in the preferences ?...)

I've tried to change this path directly in the prefs.js :

user_pref("browser.cache.directory", "D:\\MyNewCacheFolder");

, but Mozilla ignored it; and created a "NewCache" folder in the older
location. How can I force the new path ?
