I don't know about anyone else, but the way I am taking this is:

"Netscape engineers will not be making any further properties/DTD
changes."

Annoying for them, but it's their choice. However, if there's even a sniff
of someone refusing a non-Netscape-employee's patch because of this
freeze, complain. Loudly.

I suspect mozilla.org may announce one after we branch for 0.9.1, though.
