Couple of questions Mozilla 0.9 and linux

I have two problems with mozilla right now. 

1)  if I run as user it dies, no window at all, usually no message in the 
terminal but occaisionally a segmentation gault line 72 message.

2)  how can I get realplayer 8 working ?  I just got sdsl installed and 
would like to see some of the broadband media without going over to MS

if this is an inappropriate forum I apologize.  I cannot find another forum 
on my newsserver that seems more appropriate.
