Dear friends:
One of the things that have baffled me for a long time is whether
it is possible to change the fonts in Mozilla Mail. I have a dual-boot
Linux-Mandrake 8.0 and have therefore installed Windows TT fonts (which
can be done by a mere click in Mandrake) and therefore I have TT fonts
not only in the Netscape 4.x browser but also in Netscape's Messenger.
This makes a dramatic difference. It is really a pleasure to read one's
mail. Yet, in Mozilla, while the browser uses my TT fonts, the mail does
not. The result: a dull, plain hum-drum look that I have no control over.
Why should Mozilla's browser use TT fonts so well (in fact, and I
especially applaud Mozilla for this, even Cyrillic TT fonts can be used
in any size you please), while Mozilla's mail is so inflexible about
fonts. Why should it not be possible to choose one's fonts, size and
attributes in Mozilla Mail? Or have I missed something?
