Yes I save copies of all correspondence on newsgroups and email That I have.

I have an electronics newsgroup (that's sent in email format). I save
everyone of those messages and then compress them in groups of two
hundred in .sit format. Then when i get a group of 10 or more of the sit
files I then move them to zip 250 cartridges for backup.

Communicator picks up the titles of the messages automatically (at least
the mac version does)
Mozilla doesn't do that it forces you to remember the title and spell
everything correctly. when I save such items I just scan read them and
save them. If I save several hundred in a day that takes a long time.

As for sending original response I thought I sent it to list (at least I
read it in the list). If it was sent to you in error my appologies.

I am sending a copy of this to you "and" the newsgroup this time. It's
deliberate this time.
