The -turbo command-line option is still buggy and not ready for "prime
time" yet. Nothing is suppose to happen when you start Mozilla with the
-turbo option except that it gets loaded into memory, and only after you
start Mozilla without the option does it open up windows.
The bug you described was fixed just yesterday in the nightly builds, so
you can download a nightly or wait for the next milestone.
