As long as the existing middle button functionality (ie middle-click
over a link and it opens the link in a *new* window) isn't affected.  

This is one of the most incredibly useful features of Mozilla and I have
yet to see it in another browser (except Netscape in Linux).

Middle button scrolling sounds good, as long as it's intelligent enough
to interpret a click-release action over a link.
