Nope, I hadnt. Just tried, and voila! I see the browser pop up just
fine!!! Thanks a lot!! Is there some standard way of upgrading
versions? Can you send me a pointer?

The problem seems to be in the Aqua skin that I was using. It was
written specifically for 0.9. I remember even 0.9.1 wouldnt
install. So, must be a skin problem. I will contact the author and ask
him if he can upgrade his skin.

I just found a new way to get past the 4 line limit on signatures that
gnus imposes. It was a piece of software that I downloaded from the
web. the logic is VERY simple. I am actually kicking myself for not
thing about it. But atleast I found it. You can download it at
