Plugins have not been turned on as many use a feature I believe is called
"liveupdate" which was a netscape designed feature. Mozilla since it is open
source doesn't use it. Although, netscape has donated the code to the W3C
Standards Committee. But W3C hasn't decided whether to implement it.
Its so long since I have spoken on the subject I've almost forgot how to
describe it.
Also your supposed to now Manual know all the description, Mime type, and
Suffixes by memory and manually enter them. although they don't stick if you do.
