Of course you don't.  Now you have to add it back in, and when 
you do, your bookmarks should appear...

Oh.  As I try this, I see what you mean; there's no option to 
add bookmarks to the Sidebar now.  Curious.  Something is 
broken, or there's been an undocumented change...
