Please excuse me for asking a question that has probly been answered
many times before but I am still a bit new to Java, and know very little
about it. Even worse my hardware limits me to 680X0 compatable Macintosh
aplications.
Ok my question is How do I use MRJ with Netscape 4.03.1 or Comunicator
4.04.1?
I cannot use a newer ver of either Netscape or MRJ because the newer
ver.s Require PPC processor. I have tried intsaling the Mozila's "MRJ
Plugin 4.x" but although it loads I does not work.
I am trying to getNetscape to alow me to check off "Java" instead of
java script in the settings, because the buit in java script in netscape
must be outdated, due to the great number of errors I get on almost
every web page.
Can I alter netscape? Do I need a diffrent plugin? What about MRJ, if I
cant use it with Netscape, do I realy need it?
I thank anyone for any coments you might leave for me, most likely they
will be of great help.
If nothing else then perhaps some one could direct me to a better
source.
