OH YEAH! The Proxomitron (http://spywaresucks.org/prox/), a completely free and coincidentally the world's best ad/javascript popups/other annoying crap/etc blocker, appears to not cause Mozilla any problems. Verily, it smites ass. Go get it, install it, and don't look back, lest you punch the monkey or be tricked into thinking your OS is warning you that your internet connection is too slow.
