The easiest way to change the splash is to use reshacker. It's very easy
to use and does the job very well. you can find it at
http://www.rpi.net.au/~ajohnson/resourcehacker/
I bet you want to use the new splash screens found at
http://www.crosswinds.net/~ggc/oldstuff/index.html
they are really nice, and the icons too. If you found other splash
screens than these , please post the link, I would like to see them.
