This is an ongoing problem from the Netscape server. From my
understanding from one of the champions in the Netscape Champions
program, they are using 5-6 year old FTP server software. The problem is
called "the big stall" You will download all but the last few bytes of
the entire file then the download will just die and stall. To cure the
problem using Communicator do the following real fast.
cancel the download then hit back button to go back to previous webpage.
then choose download again.
now the download will go super fast as it is downloading the last few
bytes of the download.
Use of the FTP client Interarchy (Anarchie) avaoids this lag for some reason.
