I have installed Moz 0.9.3 many times over on Red Hat 7.1 systems
using RPMS, tgz packages and the installer/downloader. The
installation works ok and starts the browser for root just fine.

I run into problems when a new user who has no Mozilla profile and may
not have a Netscape profile either starts 0.9.3. Moz starts the
ProfileManager, which is sometimes missing text on some buttons and
always fails to generate working profiles. Clicking "Finish" in the
wizard dialog writes empty profile directories to ~/.mozilla, but does
not close the dialog. When the user exits Profile Manager and tries to
restart Mozilla, only the name of the profile and various debugging
messages are printed to the terminal but Mozilla never starts.

I tried copying working profiles from other users (who had had working
0.9.2 profiles to begin with) and restarting with -ProfileManager with
varying results. Sometimes the profile manager does the right thing
with the profile and Mozilla can be started, other times starting
Mozilla after the copy operation gives a segfault and a dumped core.
Sometimes I get pre-alpha -style buttons like "Start Yah" and "Exit
Yah" in ProfileManager dialogs that are otherwise missing text on
buttons altogether.

I found no mention of such problems with the 0.9.3 profiles anywhere
on the net. Is there something strange going on on the systems I'm
trying to install or is the 0.9.3 profile manager totally screwed on
Linux (RH 7.1)?
