Diamonds don't have a lot of graphic impact IMO. What they really should
do is to take a cue from another artist in the early 20th century
Russian avant garde, namely Kasimir Malevich, and go with a red square:

Getting back to the topic of Mozilla, I was bored one weekend and did
some "generic" Mozilla splash screens based on Malevich's paintings:

Of the three Malevich works, I like "Black Square" best, but I think as
a splash screen it needs a stronger font; the font I used is sort of
wimpy and gets overshadowed by the black square.
