Ditto the html.
The validator does show what the correct :hover syntax is, and
"a:hover.note" ain't it. Plus there are underscores in one class name,
which is also invalid. Underscores have to be escaped.
I won't even comment on the other aspects of the CSS, just that the
author should spend some time in
comp.infosystems.www.authoring.stylesheets and get a clue about
specifying font sizes and anchor (link) classes.
