I've noticed recently That after an install of the last several nightlies when opening for the first time if I choose to convert a netscape Profile, the conversion appears to complete but then when Mozilla opens it shows the spining beach ball affect endless and the only way out is a force quit. If I reopen I still get the spinning beach ball affect. Using a Mac G4-500 1.5 Gb system RAM, 27 GB Hard Drive. when I install a new version I : remove old version remove mozilla folder in the Documents Folder Remove the Mozilla Registry file from Preferences Remove the Mozilla Versions file from preferences I turn off (Symantec) Norton Antivirus I use the full installer as for now I use a 56k modem and the online installer is painfully slow and unreliable.
