you can still open preferences by clicking the edit\preferences menu
item. Then collapse the Navigator tree in the left pane by
double-clicking on it. Then click on the debug item in the left pane.
You will have to resize the preferences window larger to see the
checkbox for debug XUL boxes or whatever it's called. Uncheck that and
hit OK. Hope this helps.
