And if you think about it, the size of the source is highly irrelevant
from an end user perspective. They don't download the source, they
download the binary form. They won't care if the source is 1.5
terrabytes, if their download is only 10 megs they will be happy. KDE's
source may indeed be the same size/slightly larger than Mozilla's, but
what does KDE run on? KDE has to run on one platform, with one codebase
for that platform. Mozilla runs on Unix, Linux, Win32, Solaris, Mac,
etc. That's not all that bad if you ask me. Certainly makes it worth a
large code base to provide the product on so many platforms
