Well, I use the Linux version, so...
Version 0.9.3 had similar problems in Linux, though they were very
erratic. Version 0.9.4 has improved dramatically, so I would definitely
recommend upgrading. The mail/news area appears to be currently
undergoing rapid changes, so it might be worth getting an occasional
nightly build.
The only downside I have seen, the Skypilot theme no longer works :-(
