This is worth reiterating.  So far, hyatt has spent two days consulting 
to help get the link toobar fixed so it doesn't affect page-load 
performance (by default, or even when it's there).  jrgm spent at least 
two hours making sure the performance hit was due to the link toolbar 
checkin.  These people are critical to 1.0, and their time is not free. 
 Those who want the link toolbar, or other (relative to 1.0) last-minute 
features, should not expect a free lunch from anyone.
