Bookmarks, newsgroups and mail accounts will convert automatically. Not sure about filters though. I think the major advantage of moz over netscape 4.7x is that NS4.7x crashes a lot more often. Mozilla also have a lot of new functionality added like tabbed browsing, multiple mail accounts, wallet, enhanced security and cookie management, just to name a few.
