That's almost entirely untrue. Yes, there are sometimes problems sharing profiles between mismatched versions of Mozilla (and N6.1 is just a different version), and the possibility for problems increases the farther apart the versions are. But I happily share profiles back and forth without any problems most of the time and so does nearly everyone I work with. I wouldn't recommend it to my mom, but my mom isn't going to be wandering into a Mozilla developer's newsgroup. -Dan Veditz
