Yes, I finally got XIM to work with GTK+ and Mozilla ! Apparently I was pressing a wrong key combination to initiate Japanese input brrr ... It's so simple: Shift-Space and you are set ! ほら!これは日本語じゃないですか? I still have a problem though. When I enter some Japanese, it appears twice: I type: 日本語, then press Enter to commit and I get 日本語日本語 Another question: Is there a way to have nice Helvetica font in menus instead of ugly Fixed in Japanese locale ? I guess that if the menus are in Japanese it does not make much difference, but I want the menus to remain in English. Thank you
