I get dots when the page title is longer than the tab width. That's a "normal"
way of shortening labels. It doesn't waste space.
What really needs to happen with the tabs, is a check to see how wide the window is.
When I've got too many tabs open, extra ones extend off the left side of the
window (not visible, but if I resize, that's where they are). Also, the tabs
push the scroll bar to the left so it can be outside the viewport.
This is 0.9.5 on W2k
