Yes I think those favicon are really nice and Mozilla should have them. It gives a better overview in the bookmarks. It's in no way an "emulation" of IE, Konqueror uses them also. As for method 2, I think it's the way IE works, I had ro create an empty file favicon.ico in the root of the web server to avoid all those error messages. Also favicon.com says to put the favicon.ico file in the same directory as the html files. So probably both method are ok. my 2 centimes Ciao Colin
