I had a similar problem.  Eudora used to open up the url in the 
background and then bring up a dialog asking me what program I wanted to 
open the link with...  I finally fixed the problem by using Mozilla as 
my default mail program.  :)  I am tempted to say it is Eudora's fault 
since Outlook Express doesn't do it on the same machine...
