I'll give you Mac centric instrucstions but assume except for directrory location the folder name will be similar.
For Communicator in System Preferences Folder, locate folder called Netscape User folder. Open that folder, locate your Profile folder (on Mac the name is the same name given to your computer when you did interent setup). Open that folder you should find a folder called mail. also a folder called News. Now if you can convert the above to paths for PC you should be able to find it.
